The First Draft from College

For those who are interested, here is some imagery from the first stab at the graphic novel when I was in final year in NCAD (2005). Note that there is quite a transformation in style. Also because the script has changed a huge amount, many of the scenes depicted no longer exist.

This first attempt had no words, just pictograms in speech bubbles. The legacy of that decision is visible in some panels of the final draft.

The car journey to Waterloo Station, London. This sequence no longer exists.
Fr Browne & The Titanic was the working title before Get Off That Ship

Breakfast with James. Another scene that didn't make it.
Browne displays the route of his journey.
